Alex Wills, MD
#1 Bestselling Author of Give a F*ck, Actually, Alex Wills, MD is the owner and psychiatrist of PERMA! Mental Health. He is a native Idahoan but has also lived in a variety of places including New York, Israel, and Hawaii and has traveled to 40+ countries which gives him a well-rounded approach to his patients. He is happy to be serving the community of Boise. He has experience treating all forms of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenia, PTSD, ADHD, ODD, addictions, and eating disorders. His strengths include working well to collaborate with other providers, family members who are involved with treatment, and by ensuring quality care. Dr. Wills provides psychiatric evaluations, therapy, and medication management for children, teens, adults and geriatric patients.
He is passionate about psychotherapy and amongst several other therapeutic modalities, he has completed his second year of training in Transference Focused Psychotherapy through Columbia University in Manhattan, New York. In the Winter, you will find him snowboarding. In the summer, he enjoys hiking, wake boarding and long walks.

Tauna Young, FNP
Tauna is an Idaho native with a unique understanding of the physical effects of mental illness. As an experienced healthcare provider working with patients from all walks of life in both inpatient and outpatient environments over the last eight years, she has learned that many people erroneously believe that mental and physical health can be compartmentalized. She is passionate about helping people to achieve “total health” by assisting them to honor the connection between the emotional and physical impacts of all of life’s experiences.
Tauna believes that as a healthcare provider who is passionate about promoting total health, it is her duty and honor to provide a safe, judgment-free zone where patients can discuss their concerns in a positive environment. Tauna is committed to life-long learning and promotes various modalities to support wellness.
Amanda King DNP
Amanda is a dynamic and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience. Holding both a Master’s and Doctoral degree from Idaho State University, she brings a wealth of academic knowledge and practical expertise to her practice. Amanda seeks to guide, engage, and collaborate with her patients to help them achieve their health goals and highest level of wellbeing. She is an enthusiastic adventurer, and when she is not in the office, can be found on the Payette River, roaming the foothills, scuba diving, or waiting patiently at the Boise Airport for her next flight. Her travels have gifted her a broad worldview which has enhanced her ability to provide a more immersive patient-centered care experience across all ages and walks of life.
POCATELLO
Tyson Flower, FNP
Tyson is an Idaho native with a passion for helping patients, especially those afflicted by mental health. He found this passion for mental health during his undergraduate studies at Idaho State University, which resulted in changing his degree to psychology. He later graduated from Union University in Tennessee with a nursing degree. Following graduation, he worked for St. Luke’s Medical Center in Boise caring for patients with heart conditions for over 4 years. He then graduated with a Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Northwest Nazarene University.
Tyson has a calm demeanor and compassionate nature which provides a warm and accepting the atmosphere. He looks at each new patient with a fresh outlook, takes the time to listen, and address their concerns. Tyson is particularly cautious when prescribing and managing medications to ensure the safety of his patients. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and genders. He believes in providing a team approach to treatment, involving patient, provider, family, and fellow providers when applicable.

Gordon 'Brad' Greaves, PA-C
Brad Greaves is a PA with 21 years of experience, a graduate from Stanford University's PA program with a Masters Degree from Arizona School of Health Sciences. He cultivates a comforting, safe environment for all his patients. Brad is an active listener who enjoys working with clients to find a plan of care that is unique for each individual.
He is passionate about helping his clients attain their mental health goals to improve their lives. He believes that mental health is an important part of everyone's life and that we are our best when our mental and physical health is in tune with each other. His non judgmental empathetic approach helps guide clients to help them become the person they want to be. As an Idaho native his interests in the outdoors have led to many adventures road cycling, mountain biking, snow skiing and boating with his family and friends. He welcomes new clients to his practice and is excited to work with you towards a better future.

Julie Akins, FNP
Julie graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2007 with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree. Prior to becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Julie spent 17 years working primarily in an Intensive Care Unit. She Spent 8 years teaching at the College of Southern Idaho’s nursing program. Julie is excited and dedicated to work in the Mental Health field with PERMA in Twin Falls. She enjoys knowing that she can positively impact the lives of patients.
COEUR D’ALENE
Alex Vestman PMHNP-BC
Alex’s mission is to provide exceptional care for those with common and more complex mental health struggles. While she is well-versed in all aspects of mental health needs, she specializes in perinatal mood disorders (including postpartum disorders in men and women) and substance use disorders.
Alex is a board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of common and complex disorders. Her goal is to provide compassionate care that is affordable and accessible to all.
Her background in psych started in 2002 as a mental health worker in a state facility. She has progressed as a registered nurse in labor and delivery and a PMHNP-BC with a focus on women's health.
